Mission & Values

Teresa is a Co-Owner of The Therapy Spot, LLC. and a Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her BA in Communication Sciences from the University of Arkansas in 1998 and her Master's from University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2000. Teresa enjoys working with children that struggle with articulation, fluency, feeding/swallowing, language delays and deficits,  Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and Autism.

Jennifer is a Speech-Language Pathologist. She has worked with The Therapy Spot, LLC. since 2012. Jennifer graduated from the University of Arkansas and received her Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is a Beckman Oral Motor and Kaufman SLP Method certified clinician. 

Kelsey is an amazing, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and is under direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, who assesses the client, sets goals and creates a Plan of Care. Kelsey brings many great ideas for implementing goals and sparks enthusiasm within her patients. 

Cristy is a Physical Therapy Assistant. She follows a Plan of Care as directed by a Certified Physical Therapist. We are so happpy to have had herwith The Therapy Spot, LLC. since 2012. She received her associates degree from Northwest Arkansas Community College as a Physical Therapy Assistant in 2011.

Kayla is an Occupational Therapist. She evaluates, treats, and sets plans of care for her patients. She supervises all Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for the Therapy Spot, LLC. Kayla received her Masters Degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2008 and has served the pediatric population ever since. 

Rita is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and is under direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, who assesses the client, sets goals and creates a Plan of Care. Rita received her Masters Degree in Education and her Bachelors Degree in Linguistics in Europe. She received her Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from LWIT Seattle, Washington, in 2017. Rita loves to research and learn evidence-based techniques to facilitate structured goals provided under a patient's Plan Of Care.   

Elizabeth is a Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her BA in Psychology in 1992 and her Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology in 1995; both from the University of Memphis. She has lived  in Northwest Arkansas for almost  20 years and has worked within the profession in service areas including  hospital, acute care, inpatient/outpatient rehab, home health, skilled nursing, pediatrics and spent 12 years working in the public schools. Elizabeth enjoys working with our patients and their families, as they navigate care  addressing a diagnosed communication disorder.
